Will Dil Raju get respite with 'Cheliya' ?

Dil Raju is one of the favourite producers of Telugu audience. He is one of few producers in the industry with an image equal to a star hero. This year started on a brighter note for him with the successes of 'Shatamanam Bhavati' and 'Nenu Local'. Unfortunately Dil Raju wife Mrs. Anita passed away with chordiac arrest when everything was going smooth. Dil Raju was in abroad at the time of his wife's death.. as soon as he got to know the news he rushed back to India.
After his wife's death, Dil Raju engulfed in severe grief. Many people thought that Dil Raju will come out of the grief soon and resume his regular activities.. but he kept aside all this professional commitments. He is yet to come out of the personal loss.
On the other hand, 'Vellipomake' release got postponed. It is known that 'Vellipomake' is supposed to released by Dil Raju banner on February 17. Dil Raju did not attend the audio launch of Mani Ratnam 'Cheliya'. The promotional activities are also dull for 'Cheliya' which is slated for release on April 7. As the movie is slated for simultaneous release in Telugu and Tamil, they can not postpone the release Telugu version.
Even though Dil Raju is not promoting the film, 'Cheliya' has its own advantages. Usually audience will be interested to watch Mani Ratnam films irrespective of the promotions. On the other hand, there is not much competition at the box office also. Let us hope Dil Raju gets some enthusism with the success of 'Cheliya' to come out of the grief to some extent.
