Even though the film is a small-budget one, if the producer is famous then the movie can attain success. One of, the biggest example is the Pelli Choopulu movie. As the movie got produced by Suresh Babu, the team invested so much of time in promotional events of the film. The results of the film went beyond expectations. In the same way, Vellipomakey is one such low-budget film being released by an established producer Dil Raju. As he loved the story to the core, he supported the team and releasing the movie.
The scenario would have been entirely different if the film went directly from the buyer's hands to distributors hands. But as the film is in Dil Raju's hand right now, he tried his best to arrange a good number of theatres for the movie release. Not only in cities like Hyderabad, but also in overseas the movie is getting released in almost all multiplexes on September 2nd.
However, DilRaju did his best regarding the theatres, but the promotions of the film are not up to the mark. Small movies like this gain publicity by asking Star heroes to talk something about the film. But Vellipomakey team is not even doing such things. The trailer of the movie also got an average response. It is hinting that the film is an ordinary feel-good love story. On the other side, the movie is releasing the next day after the release of high-budget action movie Paisa Vassol. We have to wait and see if the movie can perform well at the box office or not.
