Theatre Mafia? Dil Raju's Befitting Reply!
By: Tupaki Desk | 8 Jan 2019 5:11 AM GMTProducers Prasanna Kumar and Ashok Vallabhaneni accused Dil Raju, Allu Aravind and UV Creations of operating Theatre Mafia in the Telugu States. A befitting reply has come from one of the leading Producers during the trailer launch of 'F2'.
Dil Raju: 'Six Months Ago, Announcement has been made about the release of Three Straight Telugu Films. While Vinaya Vidheya Rama is a high-budget flick, NTR and F2 are prestigious projects. We are struggling a lot to allot theatres for these three biggies. 'Petta' Telugu Producer announced the release date 15 days ago. When three Telugu films are releasing, How could a Dubbing Flick get ample theatres? The same Producer released three Dubbing Films (Nawab, Sarkar, Petta) in the past four months. Wasn't Sarkar screened in maximum number of screens? In Sankranthi Season, We can't offer more theatres for a Dubbing Film. 'Petta' Producer says screens will increase from January 18th. Then, Why don't he release on 18th itself? Instead of thinking sensibly, They have slipped the tongue. Even we could do that, but I have a character. We all are making films for earning money, it's business. I lost so much money in Distribution in a span of one year. Still, I am making films out of passion. Shouldn't three Telugu Films get a good release? Media has to decide who is right and who is wrong'.
