Bobby aka K.S.Ravindra, has established himself as a good commercial writer and then became a director with Ravi Teja's Power. Post that movie, he directed two big stars of Telugu Cinema, Pawan Kalyan in Sardar Gabbar Singh and Jr. NTR in Jai Lava Kusa. While one movie ended up a disaster, other one even though got some good talk and collections, ended up being an average grosser due to high pre-release business.
Now, the director has decided to work with latest sensation, Vijay Devarakonda. The actor has proved himself with Pelli Choopulu and Arjun Reddy. But in a way, he also proved that he doesn't suit for the pakka commercial formula films as he looked completely out of place in Dwaraka. The actor has decided to work with directors and stories that suit his body language.
But Bobby has been a commercial director and he has shown no sign of being an alternate Independent narrator like Sandeep Reddy Vanga or Tharun Bhasscker. So, a film with him might mean Vijay doing a film in complete commercial format. Can the actor adapt to this formula? Or will the director show us a different side to him? We have to wait and see. Vijay Devarakonda already accepted movies with Nandini Reddy, Parasuram, Bharat Kamma and Kranthi Madhav.
