Director Calls Ranveer Singh's Photoshoot Gender Equality!

His co-stars call him Volcano. The star hero took his fashion game to a whale new level by turning nude for a photoshoot. The photoshoot has sent shocking waves.
Ranveer Singh's photoshoot also raised a few observations from people. An NGO moved police station alleging that the sentiments of women were violated by the actor with his objectionable photoshoot. A few people also stood in solidarity with Ranveer Singh in the middle of the controversy.
None other than maverick director Ram Gopal Varma supported Ranveer Singh in this row and said that what the hero did was an attempt to get gender equality. He even asked why men cannot show their bodies in photoshoots when women do that during the shoots.
Ram Gopal Varma is seeing the issue from the gender quality lens and said that men should also have equal rights and the practice of judging men on different standards should be stopped.
"I think it's his way of demanding justice for gender equality. If women can show off their sexy bodies why can't men? It's hypocritical that men are judged by a different standard. Men should have as many equal rights as women," the filmmaker said.
RGV openly endorses free nature and it appears like he is supporting Ranveer Singh to promote his ideology more. Ranveer Singh ould be happy knowing that someone like Ram Gopal Varma is supporting him.
It is known that a complaint was lodged with the Police against Ranveer Singh in this photoshoot alleging that the photoshoot has hurt the sentiments of women. Besides an NGO, a lady lawyer also filed a complaint with the cops.
On the work front, Ranveer Singh is busy shooting for two big projects Cirkus and Rocky aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Circus is helmed by Rohit Shetty and Jacqueline Fernandes and Pooja Hegde are playing the leading ladies.
