Director Clarifies After Putting 'iSmart' Girl In An Awkward Position!

Bengaluru beauty Niddhi Agerwal is all set to entertain the Tamil audience this Pongal season with 'Eeshwaran' which has Simbu in the lead. The audio launch of the film was recently held and as expected Niddhi was the cynosure that night.
At the time of Niddhi's speech, there was an awkward moment which is now getting a lot of attention on social media. Film's director Suseenthiran was insisting Niddhi on saying 'Simbu Mama! I Love You' and despite Niddhi visibly being uncomfortable with it, he kept pestering her.
This raised a huge debate on the internet and the director is receiving a lot of flak for his actions on stage. People felt that pressuring a woman into saying such things just for the sake of pleasing a hero's fanbase is quite unacceptable.
The director came out and tried to explain himself by saying that it was a dialogue from the movie and nothing else but putting heroines in an awkward position during public events doesn't justify any of it.
