By: Tupaki Desk | 8 Jun 2020 5:41 AM GMTDirector Venu Udugula who made a name for himself with Sree Vishnu's 'Needi Naadi Oke Katha' climbed a step further as he is working with Rana Daggubati for his second directorial 'Virataparvam'. The film deals with some true problems in society amidst the backdrop of Naxalism.
The film is produced by Suresh Productions and the cast includes talented artists like Priyamani and Sai Pallavi. In a recent interaction with the media, Venu explained why Rana was chosen for this film. He told that Tamil hero Karthi was his first choice when he penned down the story but he required an actor who is popular in Telugu region to pull off this different script. When approached Rana, he was mighty impressed by the narration and immediately agreed to play the lead in 'Virataparvam'.
The director says that he wants to present the reality but take care of the business aspect as well because artistry alone cannot make a film successful. This film is expected to hit the screens this year and there is only a small part left to complete the shoot which will be wrapped up once the government lifts all the restrictions.
