Director heavily insults Lord Ganesha on Twitter
By: Tupaki Desk | 29 Aug 2014 3:32 PM GMTSensations and Controversies are something what they call a butter-fed education for RGV. This constant attention-grabber, attention-seeker and controversy-maker have been back again.Ram Gopal Varma kicked the debate on Ganesha by wishing Ganesh Chaturthi in a special way.
Posting his first tweet, the director has asked the Lord Ganesha followers that how can someone who could not save his own head from being cut can save others. Happy Ganpati to morons was his tweet too.
He said on Twitter, The guy who couldn't save his own head from being cut , how he will save others heads is my question? But Happy Ganpathi day to morons!
He added, Can someone explain how someone can cut off a child's head who was just trying to protect his mother's modesty? Am sure devotees know better.
RGV even went to the extent of igniting fights between Ganesha and his brother Karthikeya (Kumara Swamy) :-). This is not all. RGV kept tweeting all throughout the day and asking questions regarding the logic behind Ganesh Chaturthi.
Does Lord Ganesha eat much more than other Gods? My doubt is becos all the other Gods are either trim or muscular
Happy Ganesh chaturdhi. .may this day 29th aug bring prosperity and happiness to everybody so that there will be no problems from 30th aug
Finally he tweeted, All tweets I put on Ganesha are in my uasual manner but unintended by me to hurt anyones sentiments but if they did, I sincerely apologize. Diplomatic and intelligent indeed! What we wonder about RGV is that the same director has created one of the most memorable scenes of the Ganpati immersion, in what would arguably his best film Satya.
