Krish in Kasi!

Director Krish Jagarlamudi, has reached Kasi to start his new film, Manikarnika with Kangana Ranaut. The movie story is written by Vijayendra Prasad and is based on the life of Rani Jhansi Lakshmi Bai.
Krish, proved himself that he can deliver a box office success with historical subject this Sankranthi, with Balakrishna's 100th film, Gautamiputra Satakarni. After that he had talks with Venkatesh for his 75th film and also tried to start a movie with Varun Tej. None of them have gone on to start and in the meantime, director got an offer from Kangana Ranaut.
The 'Queen' of Bollywood, has been planning a movie from long taking Rani Jhansi Lakshmi Bai's life story and with many allegations, of her over involvement, the film did not go on floors. Finally, Krish came on board and took over the project completely into his hands. He decided the title to his taste and now, planned to start the movie in Kasi.
Kasi has a great importance in the story of Jhansi Lakshmi and the director thought it would be right to start the film from the great pilgrimage. This evening the team will participate in 'Ganga Harathi' and announce the title and also release the First look. Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy will give music for the movie and Prasoon Joshi will write dialogues for the movie.
