Next Robo Sequel Without Rajinikanth

Ace director Shankar is all set to give a memorable experience to all the South Indian audience with his upcoming film '2.0'. The movie is touted to be the much-awaited sequel for his super hit film 'Robo'.
With Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson playing the lead roles, Bollywood star Akshay Kumar is seen in the antagonist role. Lyca Productions have invested a massive amount of Rs. 600 crores as the budget and the makers are promoting the film aggressively. Talking about '2.O', director Shankar hints about the sequel of it '3.O'. "I will definitely make 3.0 but the film will not happen without Rajinikanth. I cannot expect anyone other than Rajini in the role of Chitti" said Shankar. He said that it is not about taking the franchise but '3.0' will happen when he gets the right thought and convincing script.
"I want to entertain the audience through Chitti. Just like Superman, Batman and Spiderman, I wanted the franchise of Robo in the country" added Shankar. Amid high expectations, '2.O' will hit the screens on November 29th across the globe.
