Earlier reports came that Shruti Haasan is said to have signed the contract for the film. Now the Director of the film Venu Sriram has confirmed the news that Shruthi Haasan is confirmed for the role of heroine in the film. He even lambasted the rumours that said the makers would delete heroine track in the film.
She has earlier acted in films like 'Gabbar Singh' and 'Katama Rayudu' with Pawan Kalyan.
'Vakeel Saab 'is the official remake of Bollywood hit film 'Pink'. In the original Amitabh Bachchan doesn't have a heroine and he acted his age. The Tollywood makers have added minor changes to the script to suit the sky-high commercial image of Pawan Kalyan.
'Vakeel Saab' stars Nivetha Thomas, Anjali and Ananya ('Mallesham' fame) starring in the pivotal roles. The film was scheduled to hit the screens on May 15 but the plans shattered due to the outbreak of COVID-19 and the makers are now in search of a new release date!
