Disappointing TRP For Jersey TV Premiere

'Jersey' was one of the most critically acclaimed films of 2019. Generally, Such highly rated movies receive terrific TRPs when it comes to TV Premiere. That didn't happen in the case of the Nani-starrer for a mysterious reason.
World Television Premiere of 'Jersey' on Zee Telugu fetched a TRP Rating of just 8.8. On the other hand, 'F2' managed to get 9.6 TRP for the third telecast. That itself indicates the poor show of Sports Drama on the Small Screen.
It's understandable if a film like 'Jersey' hasn't appealed to the Masses. What could be the reason if Families too are disinterested in watching it even on Television? This really hurts not just the Cast & Crew but all those who loved this beautiful creation.
'Jersey' narrates the inspiring story of a Cricketer who makes a big sacrifice to become a hero for his Son. Nani, Shraddha Srinath and the Child Artiste were simply outstanding in their respective roles. Director Gowtham Tinnanuri raised his bar much higher after 'Malli Raava'.
