New releases fail at US box office!

Telugu cinema producers are always on the look out for new markets and avenues to get their money back. These days, US has become the second most important area after Telugu states as several medium budget movies have recovered their budgets just with the collections from the area.
But after Baahubali2, none of the films released have been able to ignite fire at the box office and the same continues with the new releases this week too. In fact, even from Thursday premieres both the films turned out to be disasters at box office. For starters, Andhagaadu, coming from AK Entertainments and a young hero like Raj Tharun along with his lucky charm, Hebah Patel collected only 1250 dollars and on Friday, it further fell down to 1000 dollars.
Fashion Designer, even though had Vamsy as the director the movie collected 930 dollars on Thursday and 574 dollars on Friday. Both the films, did not have great buzz before releasing and after release too, the movies failed to generate any kind of positive buzz.
As far as last week release goes, Naga Chaitanya's Rarandoyi Veduka Chuddam collected 10.3k dollars on Friday. As the movie needs to collect little more than 800k dollars to break even even though it recovered amounts in telugu states, the movie could end up raking 25% losses for the distributors.
