Disha's Father Moves Court Seeking Ban On RGV's Film

Rape victim Disha's father has moved the Telangana High Court to ban Ram Gopal Varma's film which is being made on Disha's incident.
The family of Disha on Friday filed a petition with the High Court seeking judicial intervention. The family pleaded the court to order the government and Censor Board to stall the release of the film. The counsel for the petitioner asked a ban on the film. The film is scheduled to be released on November 26.
The court on Friday directed the Central government counsel to expeditiously resolve the representation, if any, made by the father on the issue.
Disha's family had also asked a direction to the state home department and CBFC authorities to not allow RVG to release the film.
