Back-To-Back Legal Hurdles For RGV's 'Disha'!

Maverick filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma's ambitious project 'Disha' based on the real-life brutal incident is hitting one roadblock after another. Disha's father Sridhar Reddy appealed to the court that it is not right to make a film on this serious incident at a time when the investigation over the encounter of people who murdered Disha is still going on. He filed a petition asking the central government and censor board to stop this film immediately.
While this case is still under investigation, the family members of accused Jollu Shiva, Jollu Naveen, Chenna Keshavulu and Haimmed Arif who were encountered by the police have appealed to the Judicial Commission of Supreme Court to stop this film on Monday.
They claim that this film portrays their people in bad light which is a violation of their rights. They reportedly said that it will have a huge impact on family members and the children who will be scarred for life. Their lawyer appealed the court to immediately stop RGV's film. With all these cases surrounding the film, it is to be seen if this film see the light of the day or not.
