'DJ Tillu' Closing Collections: An Outright Blockbuster

If there is one film that turned out to be a unanimous blockbuster in recent times, it is 'DJ Tillu'. Starring Siddu Jonnalagadda in the lead role, this hilarious entertainer is loved by the youth and it struck gold in the Nizam area especially. The Hyderabadi accent and the funny one-liners of the hero worked brilliantly.
The film gained a huge buzz prior to the release with its teasers and songs. It was released amidst good expectations and it exceeded them. The film completed its theatrical run at the box office and it is made available on the Aha OTT platform. By the end of its run, the film minted a share of 16.92 crores at the box office worldwide while the gross amounted to 29.70 crores.
'DJ Tillu' got 7.11 crores in the Nizam area while it got 1.88 crores in the Ceeded region. The collections in Uttarandhra amounted to 1.39 crores. The collective collections of East and West Godavari districts summed up to 1.59 crores. Guntur region gave 77 lakhs while Krishna gave 66 lakhs and it got 46 laksh in Nellore area. The collections of both the Telugu states amounted to 13.86 crores. It got 2.05 cores from overseas while Karnataka and Rest Of India brought 1.01 crores.
