DJ Tillu is not an Adult movie says producer
By: Tupaki Desk | 10 Feb 2022 12:20 PM GMTDJ Tillu starring Siddu Jonnalagadda and Neha Shetty, directed by Vimal Krishna is gearing up for release on 12th February. Producer Suryadevara Nagavamsi, who owns Sithara Entertainments Private Limited production house, talked to media about the film.
He said that they have Bheemlanayak starring Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati next in the pipeline of their releases and he will announce the release date of the film, soon.
He continued to talk about why their production house produced DJ Tillu. He said, "We produced films like Rang De and Varudu Kavalenu before. Both of them are targeted at family audiences but they could not attract enough crowd.
"Even though both the films had enough elements to entertain audiences, families did not show much interest in watching them at theatres and hence, we chose a more youth friendly film.
"DJ Tillu is a bold film but not adult film. It is a comedy film that attracts youngsters and has bold language. But that doesn't make it an adult film and these days lip kiss or kissing scenes cannot be seen as part of adult films. They have become common in every kind of film.
"Audiences taste and perception are changing. We have to accept that and move forward. We are committed to entertaining Audiences with values and we will never give up on that," said Nagavamsi.
