After 3 remakes, Dolly says No

Taking up a remake film might be a safebet for the heroes.. surprisingly it is a tight ropewalk for the directors. If the remake is successful, people say that 'it is not his original work'. If it fails at the box office then, he has to face brickbats from the audience as well as critics. Unexpectedly some directors take up remakes continuously.. Kishore Kumar Pardasany(Dolly) is one of them.

Even though he debuted as a director with a straight film 'Konchem Ishtam.. Konchem Kashtam', he has directed three remakes 'Tadakha', 'Gopala Gopala' and 'Katama Rayudu' later. As he directed three remakes, people started calling him a remake director. To come out of that, Dolly has decided to make a straight film.

He said that "Some film makers take inspiration from Hollywood films or any other films.. even though they are making a straight film. Even remake is like that. I don't want to copy the original as it is. I take the story from the original and freshly write the script again. I have already done three remakes. I don't want to take up any remakes from now. My next will be a stright film with my own story".

He also said that he is very happy to associate with Pawan Kalyan for two films.. and he wanted to work with him again but with a straght film.
