My Personal Life Is Not A Gossip - Ileana
By: Tupaki Desk | 29 March 2018 7:50 AM GMTIleana D'Cruz talked about her personal life and her professional life to a famous media outlet.
She referred to Andrew Kneebone as her 'hubby' but never she talked about him or their marriage. When asked why?
She said, "I guard my personal life as it is sacred to me. May not for others but it is to me. You will get a sneak peek into it on social media and I am comfortable only, with that. I don't want my personal life to be a gossip column for others."
She talked about her body dysmorphic disorder that she suffered for 15 years. This is a kind of mental illness in which you are never comfortable with the way you look.
She overcome that and is highly vocal about it. She said, "People needs to understand that it is an illness and understand how to tackle it. Otherwise it can consume our inner strength."
About her next films after Raid, she said, "I am happy that woman are being treated as the hero of the story these days in our films. Producers are finally accepting that women centric films can work and I am spoilt for choice with the kind of roles I am offered."
She concluded, "I don't want to be a typecast and hence, I am very choosy about the kind of films and roles, I want to do going forward."
