DOP Not Happy With Criticism On 'Radhe Shyam'!
By: Tupaki Desk | 14 March 2022 11:41 AM GMTYoung Rebel Star Prabhas' high-budget romantic drama âRadhe Shyam' arrived on 11th March. The film which hit the screens under a lot of expectations failed to reach them as it is completely different from what people expected. The film is a full-length love story and the entire crew stuck with the concept and did not deviate from commercial aspects.
A lot of netizens are unhappy with the film and the slow screenplay by the director. They are even calling names and abusing the film's team which made the cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa very happy. He vented out his anger on social media as he came up with a length Instagram post.
He wrote, "I agree critics has big say about films storyline and screenplay, performance, I am reading lots of complaints on the visual premises of story being so rich and unwanted ⦠is this the way criticism works anywhere in the world? Has if they are paying extra money to watch this heavy budget film when already there are lots of regulations on fixing tickets rates common for everyone."
He went on to add, "It's Prabhas sir's vision to give His fans a visual treat and also lots of ppl telling this film's cinematography is too much beautiful⦠which overtakes the storyline ⦠I believe good cinematography is nothing but consistency! Even I feel I failed in lots of spaces with green screen patchworks and post-pandemic hurdles to complete this film ⦠I thank every single person who is appreciating my work and it's just fine example of team Work."
He further said, "Most of my fellow cinematographers doing great work in their respective movies due to limited budgets, time management and production issues they are not able to give consistency results â if you think this film's visuals are good and consistent, that's because of Prabhas sir's vision and producers' will. I wish all the films are made like this. In this very competitive entertainment industry and any story can be told anywhere its basics of filmmaking, classic example of rich girl falling in love with a poor boy â Titanic PERDIO. But the director never intended to make another titanic here. He thought a big ship middle on ocean is good promises to fight against five elements of nature #radheshyam."
