Can they Achieve Break-Even Status??
By: Tupaki Desk | 2 Oct 2017 5:47 PM GMTDussehra season is the most awaited season for films this year. Jr. NTR's Jai Lava Kusa, Mahesh Babu's Spyder and Sharwanand's Mahanubhavudu released for this festival. While Jai Lava Kusa took the early advantage, Spyder and Mahanubhavudu are good in their respective ways in attraction initials.
Jai Lava Kusa collected a share of 65 crores Worldwide, it needs 86 crores to achieve break-even status. Mahesh Babu's Spyder has collected 42 crores share Worldwide, including Tamil version, and it needs to collect 124 crores share to be considered a success. Mahanubhavudu has collected 10 crores, approximately, Worldwide in the initial weekend and it needs 20 crores to push everyone involved to make a profit.
Well, on 2nd October too, along with Dussehra holiday season, the collections are good but after such a huge period of celebrations and holidays, many will be running back to work and with kids getting busy with school, it gets highly difficult for families to make time for films right from Tuesday. Not every movie has an outright blockbuster talk, so recovery of such huge amounts seem a bit far-fetched idea. As there are no big releases till Deepavali weekend, may be there is a chance for them to make the money back. Let's wait and see....
