Producer Ended Up In A Controversy With The Lyrics
By: Tupaki Desk | 22 Sep 2018 8:33 AM GMTNo matter how much the makers try to take care, a single scene or as single line from the lyrics will end up hurting the sentiments of a religion. The same happened with the recently released low-budget film 'Ee Maaya Peremito'.
Thr movie hit the screens on September 21st. Apparently, the song from the movie is hurting the religious sentiments of Jain people. They are protesting that the movie should be banned from airing as the song used their religious significant mantras as song lyrics and the scenes were objectionable. In the movie, heroine name is Sheetal Jain and hero is Srirama Chandra Murthy. The lead actor who portrayed the role is Rahul Vijay, son of Fight Master Vijay. The producer Divya Vijay apologized and promised to edit out the scenes and mute the mantras.
However, the issue is not settled yet as Divya claimed that she is receiving so many warning calls even after muting the mantras and editing out the scenes. She stated that some people are even sharing her personal phone number on social media and are allegedly removing the film from getting aired.
