Manchu Vishnu always considered remakes as a safe bet. While few of them helped him bounce back after successive flops, Rest of the films burnt his hands. 'Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam' is a remake of a Punjabi flick. This time, Raj Tarun joins Vishnu for delivering confusion comedy. Let's see what this entertainer directed by Nageswar Reddy offers...
Synopsis:
Arjun (Vishnu), S/O Advocate, and Ashwin (Raj Tarun), S/O Sub Inspector, are close buddies. At a friend's marriage, Arjun falls in love with Neelaveni (Sonarika) and Sushmita (Hebah Patel) finds her soulmate in Ashwin. Upon knowing that Neelaveni wants to marry an Orphan, Arjun pretends to be having no family and this lies leads to their marriage. That's when Neelaveni decides to move out of his brother's house and rents the upper portion in Arjun's House without informing him prior. How did Arjun manage his family & wife using the help of Ashwin forms the rest of the tale!
Performances:
Manchu Vishnu's look in 'Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam' is his best in the recent past. He performs with ease, especially does well in comedy blocks. Even though Raj Tarun's role has less prominence, This hat-trick hero leaves a mark of his own in the Police Station sequence.
Sonarika & Hebah Patel competes in glamour show but doesn't impress much with performance. Rajendra Prasad is the pillar of 'Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam' and some of his comedy sequences were hilarious. Posani, Ravibabu, Fish Venkat and Prabhas Seenu have done decent job. Nothing much to say about Abhimanyu Singh & Supreeth.

Technicalities:
Songs composed by Sai Kartheek are passable. Even Background Score is nothing special. Siddharth Ramaswamy's Cinematography is fine. Dialogues of Diamond Ratnam tickle the funny bone at times. Production Values were good. Director Nageswar Reddy does nothing different but follows the same old tested formula without bothering about logic. He, however, added ample commercial elements to reach out to the masses.
Analysis:
The storyline of 'Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam' isn't afresh and we have seen a lot of Telugu films in the 90s with similar template. No one knows what made Vishnu obtain the remake rights of a Punjabi film to make this movie.
Forget about logic before stepping into the theatres as only then audience could enjoy this confusion comedy. Even though its a routine subject with several illogical scenes, There is good dose of humor to make it a time pass fare. Rajendra Prasad lives up to his reputation of Comedy King yet again. He dominates both the Heroes in Comedy scenes. Even Posani & Ravibabu contribute well to make the proceedings entertaining.
Title of this entertainer is misleading to some extent. Heroes take the centrestage only for the first 20 minutes and thereafter Rajendra Prasad takes everything into his control with his expertise in comedy. While First Half is decent enough, Entire focus is only on comedy in the Second Half and few scenes were rib-tickling. The only song (Rendu Punjulu) in the latter half is a treat for youth & masses. Climax is predictable & unexciting.
'Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam' isn't for those who crave for intelligent cinema or search for logics. Routine Story & Screenplay will frustrate if one expects this project to offer something new. Lastly, This Confusion Comedy Flick has got the elements which might connect well with the mass audience.
