Eega Celebrates 9 years of Release: Juicy Update on the second part

SS Rajamouli directorial Eega has a special place not only in Tollywood but also in the Indian cinema too. The action entertainer is a turning point in Rajamouli's career, which acted as a stepping stone for making Bahubali. Rajamouli mesmerized us with the VFX in Eega.
Eega is also an example that content doesn't need any stars and the story can be told effectively without any stars. Nani was not a big star when Eega was made. Despite this, Rajamouli made wonders with Eega. It's been nine years since Eeega was released.
Eega is a revenge drama, but the VFX and the way Rajamouli dealt with it made the difference. No director would have thought that a fly can be a protagonist and fight with the mighty antagonist to take revenge. The stellar performance of the lead actors needs appreciation.
Kannada Star Kichcha Sudeep, who played the antagonist role did a brilliant job. His role in Eega can be called one of the best performances in his filmography. Despite little screen time, Natural Star Nani and Samantha had good chemistry.
Fans have been waiting for the Eega sequel. But the sequel didn't materialize despite media reports hinting about Eega 2 from time to time. Star writer 'Vijayendra Prasad' gave his opinion on the sequel.
Bahubali and Bajrangi Bhaijaan writer Vijayendra Prasad said there is an idea to bring the sequel for the revenge drama ,but it might not take place in the coming time.
On the work front, Jakkanna Rajamouli is currently helming magnum opus RRR, starring Young Tiger Jr. NTR and Ram Charan in pivotal roles. RRR is being made on a Pan India scale. After wrapping up the high-ticket RRR, Rajamouli will join hands with Superstar Mahesh Babu.
