Superstar Rajinikanth's latest film 'Kaala' released yesterday. The movie received a mixed talk and the majority of the audience feel that Pa Ranjith has once again failed to utilise a star hero like Rajini completely. Though there are some Rajini style goosebump moments in the film, he made it hard to watch film with his serious theme. Apart from this, his casting has impressed many people. Kaala's wife character Eashwari Rao in particular.
When Eashwari Rao name was announced for playing Rajini's wife role initially there were apprehensions whether she can match the screen presence of Rajini. But she has done it with ease. With her natural acting, she pulled of Kaala's wife character with finesse. She got a crucial role in the film and she perfectly matched Rajini in the film.
Easwari Rao is a Telugu heroine and she acted in Rajendra Prasad film 'Rambantu'. Though she went on to act in a few more films she wasn't successful. She started acting in Telugu and Tamil TV serials later. She suddenly grabbed the attention with 'Kaala' now. Though Telugu filmmakers didn't identify the true actress in Easwari Rao, Tamilians honoured her with a wonderful role. Irrespective of the result of 'Kaala', it will be a break for her.
