Eight die in Pakistan blast

The blast took place at about 11.40 a.m. when authorities were distributing edibles to refugees in the Jalozai Camp of Nowshera, a district in the country's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, reported Xinhua citing a TV channel.
Police said the bomb was a remote controlled device and the explosive materials were planted inside a car which was parked near the food distribution depot.
The injured were shifted to hospitals in Nowshera and Peshawar where doctors said several were in critical condition.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
