'Ek Villain Returns' Trailer: Who Is The Villain This Time?

Bollywood is running behind sequels, remakes and biopics lately. They are spoiling the magic of the original versions by coming up with sequels which do not have any connection to their predecessors. 'Ek Villain' featuring Siddharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor and Ritesh Deshmukh was a super hit back in 2014. The intense love drama filled with suspense and action amazed the audience. The songs of this film are still in the playlists of many.
The makers of the first part have decided to bring a sequel and roped in a whole new set of cast members like John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria. Directed by Mohit Suri, the trailer came out a while ago and it definitely falls short of expectations. It lacked the feel of the original going by the trailer and focused more on the action and suspense part. With John Abraham at the center of proceedings, a lot of focus was kept on his bulging muscles and his fights with Arjun Kapoor.
On the other hand, both Tara Sutaria and Disha Patani looked very glamorous. They slipped into revealing outfits and did their best to raise the temperatures. The visuals look great and the production values are top notch but there is something missing in the trailer. The famous 'Galiyaan' song was remixed for the sequel and the last twist in the trailer made things a lot spicier. We need to wait and see if the film impresses when it hits the screens on 29th July or not.
