For few years, before 2017 Sankranthi, Mega heroes saw a very low voltage drop in their film market and few people pointed out that by saying that no Mega hero film is in TFI Top 5.
After Megastar Chiranjeevi re-entry, the Mega Family heroes seems to have changed gears and found good subjects to deliver big hits. Allu Arjun with Duvvada Jagannadam and Naa Peru Surya, couldn't crack the Top 10, in 2017 and 2018.
But Ram Charan who saw big lull from 2015, came back with Rangasthalam and the movie became Non-Baahubali Industry Hit. Saaho threatened to cross it, but the content did not help the film.
Sai Dharam Tej seemed to have lost his path after Supreme but he regained his market with Chitralalahari and Prathi Roju Pandage.
Megastar followed his Khaidi No.150 feat with Sye Raa, which entered TFI Top 5 with Telugu version collections. Even though Ram Charan failed to give a Sankranthi blockbuster with Vinaya Vidheya Rama, Allu Arjun gave a Non-BB Industry Hit cracking Top 5 with Sankranthi 2020 winner, Ala Vaikuntapurramuloo.
Ram Charan has RRR coming up, Chiru has a film with Koratala Siva and Allu Arjun has a film with Sukumar. Varun Tej and Sai Tej are also delivering successful films.
Now, Mega Family and fandom are happy that their heroes struck back at box office with vengeance to occupy Top 5 of TFI barring Baahubali films.
