The Sankranti race is all heated up with 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' team and 'Ala Vaikunthapuramlo' team fighting over the release dates. As per the earlier arrangement, 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' should be releasing on 11th January while 'Ala Vaikunthapuramlo' will be arriving on 12th. Now, Allu Arjun and team preponed their film and decided to come on 10th January and trusted sources say that 'Sarileru' team lobbying for more theatres is what forced Bunny's team to take this step.

As Mahesh babu's film is releasing on 11th, most of the theatres will be screening it. They made an agreement that 'Ala Vaikunthapuramlo' will be getting more screens on 12th as it is releasing that day. But Mahesh's team is reportedly putting pressure on distributors and theatre owners to give maximum screens to them on the second day too.

As per the arrangement, the theatres which show 'Sarileru' on 11th should allow the same number of shows on 12th to 'Ala Vaikunthapuramlo'. For example, if a multiplex has four screens, Mahesh's film will get three screens on 11th. On 12th, one main screen will be given to Mahesh while the other two will be allotted to Bunny's film. On 13th, Bunny will get one more screen as he got fewer shows on 12th Jan. From 14th, the screens will be allotted equally to both the films.

But the problem started when Mahesh's team demanded the same number of shows on its second day too. They are reportedly saying that Allu Arjun's film will get a chance from 13th January. Upset by this, Bunny and team decided to release their film on 10th January which shocked 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' team. We need to wait and see who steps up to solve this complicated issue.
