Sharwanand achieved his first commercial success many years after his debut with 'Run Raja Raja' and thereafter he never looked back. A clean hit like 'Malli Malli Idhi Rani Roju' followed it and now 'Express Raja' is on track to become a success.

'Express Raja' collected a share of Rs 4.45 crore by the end of first weekend. Its a good total, given the low production cost, limited screen release and competition from three biggies. While the total budget is Rs 7 crore including publicity and promotions, UV Creations released the movie its own and it should achieve break even within Friday. Karnataka release is being planned on January 22nd and the full run share could easily cross Rs 10 crore mark.
