Reports were abuzz that Nayantara was detained at the Malaysian Airport due to mismatch of her name in the passport. It is being reported in a section of media that the actress was interrogated for several others by the Immigrations Officials.
Team 'Iru Mugan' gave a clarification on the whole issue. The Production Team rubbished the reports of Nayantara getting detained in Malaysia.
A press release by the Team say, Work Permit norms in Malaysia are quite different in Two Terminals - KL1 & KL2. Usually, Passengers to India pass through Terminal KL1 but New Airline Malindo operates from KL2. This triggered a confusion and Immigration Officials sought a clarification from Nayan's support staff. That's when, The actress stepped in and sorted out the issue in an amicable manner.
Nayantara is back in 'Kochi' after completing the schedule in Malaysia. The Production Team lodged a complaint with Immigration Department in connection with the scans of Nayan's passport circulating online.
