The thrilling hit of Bollywood 'Andhadhun' is getting remade in Tollywood. It is evident that youth star Nithiin is starring in the film. Director Merlapaka Gandhi is directing the film in Telugu. Nithiin is reprising the role of Ayushmann Khurrana. Now comes the question of who's playing the role of Tabu as in the original. She has aced her performance as the seductive villain. Who will be reprising the role in Telugu?
The makers first planned Tabu to play her role in Telugu too but feared she would charge an exorbitant remuneration and also typecast as she garnered good reviews from her latest film 'Ala Vaikunta Purram Lo'.
Most recently Nithiin's father Sudhakar Reddy planned to make it happen with glamorous actress Nayan Thara but things didn't turn well as she didn't show much interest in the role and gave a big shock to Sudhakar Reddy by charging sky-high remuneration of 9 Crores.
Makers are now said to be found the apt replacement of Tabu in the form of Shriya Saran and this choice would be beneficial for the makers on remuneration wise too said sources.
