Acharya is releasing on 29th April. This is the first film starring Megastar Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan together. Father and son duo appeared in cameos together for Magadheera, Bruce Lee and Khaidi No. 150.
In Magadheera they shared screen space for a song and Bruce Lee for a fight. In Khaidi No. 150, Ram Charan appeared briefly in a song.
Now, this is the first time where both will rock on the screen for more than 45-55 minutes. As per the sources, Koratala Siva reduced or removed Kajal Aggarwal's role and increased screen space for Ram Charan and his lady love in the movie, Pooja Hegde.
Actually, Ram Charan was supposed to do an extended cameo for 25 minutes with two fights and one song. But now his role is almost 50 minutes with three fights and one action sequence and two songs.
He has a separate song after his introduction and one more with his father Chiranjeevi. Character of Megastar Chiranjeevi will only have three songs and they are Saana Kashtam, Laahe Laahe and Bale Bale with Ram Charan.
Reports are stating that the introduction sequence which is also interval sequence shouldn't be missed by fans of Mega Family. This will be the biggest highlight of the film, say reports.
Matinee Entertainment and Konidela Productions have produced the film with Koratala Siva as writer-director. Few big names have helped the director to complete the script. Superstar Mahesh gave voice over and movie is Mani Sharma's return to composing for a Megastar film after a decade gap.
