Mahesh Babu like his father Superstar Krishna showcased that when he gets a hit the box office records will tumble for sure and there is a safety net for his flops too!
Disasters on the other hand can suffer a lot. Both the father and son have such issue but when they delivered box office wise, the movies have also become trendsetters and big blockbusters.
For Krishna - Simhasanam, Alluri Seetharamaraju, Eenadu, Pandanti Kapuram, No.1 have been career defining moments with Gudachari making him first James Bond-esque Spy of Telugu Cinema. Mosagallaki Mosagadu made him first Cowboy hero and there have been many memorable hits too!
For Mahesh - Okkadu, Athadu, Pokiri, Dookudu, Srimanthudu have been career high points. Pokiri is still an enviable hit for many and Athadu lives on like a classic. Even flops like Khaleja, Arjun, Nenokkadine, Nani have cult following from his fans.
Now, the fans can all come together and celebrate the 25 films of Superstar Mahesh on 18th May at Vijayawada, it seems. Fans are organising the event and they are even calling some of the directors who worked with Mahesh to the event.
Will Mahesh attend the event? We still don't have a confirmation regarding that yet!
