Kannada hero Puneeth Rajkumar, who gained a lot of fan following with his amazing dancing skills and stunts and emerged as Power Star left us at an early age of 46 on Friday after suffering a cardiac arrest at Vikram hospital in Bengaluru. He suffered a heart attack today while doing workouts at his gym.
Seeing his condition, the doctors shifted him to an ICU facility and gave him treatment. While undergoing treatment, he suffered cardiac arrest and the treatment could not save him. Members of the film fraternity and fans are mourning the death of the leading star.
Hours before getting admitted to the hospital, Puneeth Rajkumar had wished his brother ahead of the release of Bhajarangi 2, the sequel to the hit adventure film Bhajarangi. Bhajarangi 2 was released today. He wished his brother and the makers of the film on the release. Sadly, this is the last tweet Puneeth Rajkumar made.
The congratulatory tweet was made at 8:30 AM today and three hours after making the tweet, i.e, at 11:30, he suffered a heart attack and was rushed to the hospital. Sadly, he could not make it through the treatment and breathed his last at the private hospital.

After his family members agreed to donate his eyes, the doctors at the Vikram hospital performed surgery and took his eyes and preserved them. Later, his body was sent to Puneeth Rajkumar's house in Sadashiva Nagar. His fans had followed the ambulance as a convoy to his house.
To give a chance for his fans to have a last glimpse of him, his body will be placed at the Sree Kanteerava Outdoor Stadium. Though there is no clarity on when the last rites of the actor would be performed, reports say that the last rites might be performed on Sunday.
