Farhan Akhtar is a multi talented guy in Bollywood. He has excelled in everything he has taken up, direction.. production.. writing..singing. It seems he has finally stopped at acting. He is coming up with 'Lucknow Central', a movie with 'prison break' theme. The filmmakers have released the trailer on July 26.
The trailer tells the story of a small town man Kishen with a dream of establishing a band and to become a famous singer. But the situations completely change while he starts chasing his dream. He lands in Lucknow Central jail. Court awards him life imprisonment on the charges of murder. While serving his sentence, he forms a band with fellow inmates and plots a prison break. Ronit Roy is shown as a police officer in negative shades.
The 2.37 min. trailer is intense and attention grabbing. As usual, you don't see Farhan on the screen but it is small town guy Kishen with his typical village accent. Diana Penty is playing the female lead in the film. 'Lucknow Central' produced by Nikkhil Advani. It is directed by Ranjit Tiwari. 'Lucknow Central' is slated for release on September 15.
