Feb 17th Turning Out To Be A Risky Release Date!

2023 is here and the movie lovers are in for a wonderful ride ahead. Movies that were supposed to hit the screens in December and January are aiming at the summer season now. But there is a date which a lot of small and medium are targeting. Despite the risk of many releases on the same date, the filmmakers are showing interest in this date.
It is February 17th and some interesting films are hitting the screens on that day. The first in the list is Samantha's 'Shaakunthalam' which was postponed multiple times. The makers recently announced the release date and there are decent expectations on this film directed by veteran filmmaker Gunasekhar. The teaser and other promotional content may increase the hype further.
Even Dhanush's bilingual movie 'Sir' directed by Venky Atluri is getting released on the same date. The teaser and the first song got a very good response and with Sithara Entertainments bankrolling it, the movie may not have any release issues.
There are two other movies arriving on the same day and they may get affected due to the above-mentioned films. The first one is Vishwak Sen's 'Dhamki'. The trailer and first song turned out to be successful but it is a small film compared to the 'Shaakunthalam' and 'Sir'. The other film is Kiran Abbavaram's 'Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha' which is backed by Geetha Arts.
We need to see how much these young heroes collect at the box office amidst all these releases. Apart from these four, Ajay Devgn's 'Maidaan' is releasing on the same day and the Hollywood superhero flick 'Antman and Wasp' is also releasing grandly in the Indian market.
