Festival Hero Sharwanand Strikes Again

Clashing with star-studded films has worked in favour of Sharwanand so far. Be it 'Express Raja', 'Shatamanam Bhavati' and 'Mahanubhavudu', All of them released during the festival period even though a minimum of two biggies have been in race.
During the promotions of 'Mahanubhavudu', Sharwanand made it clear he isn't clashing with anyone when quizzed why he competes with Top Stars all the time. 'My Producers will decide when My Films should release. I don't involve in such matters at all. It's part of the Producer's Strategy. If the content is good, People would always embrace even if it's a small movie. But, I never wish to compete with big stars…I'm not their competitor at all,' he said.
Though he downplayed the whole issue, The fact that Sharwanand's range is only getting bigger with each film can't be ignored. Mostly, He is having the last laugh when there is a clash with biggies & earned the tag of 'Festival Hero'.
'Mahanubhavudu' opened to better reviews than what 'Jai Lava Kusa' and 'Spyder' received. Even the word-of-mouth and openings have been pretty good to make it a Dussehra winner.
