'Fighter' Is My Kind Of Commercial Cinema: Vijay Devarakonda!

Crazy young hero Vijay Devarakonda recently gave an online interview and shared his thoughts about various issues. Speaking about his upcoming film 'Fighter' directed by dashing director Puri Jagannadh, he gave many snippets regarding his training and experience of working on a commercial film for the first time.
'Fighter' is a pan-Indian film that is being made simultaneously in Telugu as well as Hindi. Talking about the hard work he did for this film, he said, "I have been working out for the role in the film, I do for the last 8 months. In between, I lost motivation but then I had to shut up myself and continue my non-stop work out. I play the role of a fighter and whether it is six or eight packs, I have to look like a fighter who can beat the shit out of someone."
Vijay did many content-driven films and 'Fighter' marks his entrance into the commercial arena. He told, "This is going to be my kind of commercial cinema and not the regular commercial entertainers we have seen and grown up watching. When I heard the script, I wanted to do something like this which falls in the commercial genre. The film received even more commercial backing because of the director who is known for his commercial sensibilities."
He stated that Puri is his favorite director and 'Pokiri' is one of his all-time favorite films. 'Fighter' is being produced jointly by Charmme and Karan Johar. Young beauty Ananya Pandey will be seen romancing Vijay in this flick.
