A lot of heroines arrive in the film industry and fade away instantly after having their time in the spotlight. But Genelia Deshmukh is one of the very few actresses who left a lasting impression in the minds of the South audience with her infectious smile, adorable looks and unlimited charm.

She made her debut in the South with Shankar's 'Boys' which was a huge success. She went on to act in Telugu films like 'Samba', 'Satya', 'Naa Alludu', 'Sye' and many others. Genelia proved that she is not just limited to glamour roles as she went onto do movies like 'Happy', 'Dhee', 'Ready' and others which are still watched by many. But her flawless portrayal of Haasini's character in 'Bommarillu' remained in the hearts of everyone. Her energy and cuteness is one of the reasons for the film to become a classic.

After marrying Bollywood and Maratha actor Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia took a break from movies. The 34-year-old actress gave birth to two children and she is all set to return to films now.

After 10 years, she is returning to South cinema with debutant hero Kireeti's film. He is the son of famous politician Gaali Janardhan Reddy. The movie was launched grandly on Friday and fans of Genelia are very excited with her comeback with this Telugu-Kannada bilingual.

'Pelli SandaD' fame Sri Leela will be seen as the heroine while Kannada Legend Crazy Star Dr. Ravichandra V will be seen in an important role.
