Financial issues troubling talented director?

The other day hero Vishal has tweeted rather harshly, "actors should do acting, and directors should do directing", about the cancellation of the film "Pandem Kodi 2" by talented director Linguswamy. But there seem to be some serious point behind this happening, we hear.
According to reports, Linguswamy is suffering from financial losses post the result of films like Surya "Anjaan" and that stopped him making movies (production ventures). Also he actually took word to produce a bilingual with Allu Arjun, but that will not be taking off due to these issues.
Sources in mega camp clarified that if Linguswamy will not be able to produce the film, then Geetha Arts will produce it.
