Godzilla Hero Is No More

We all know that filmmakers work very hard for the desired visual effects in the films. Even though they spend crores of rupees, use modern technology they have to spend so much time for good visual effects. There are several films based on visual effects.. but Godzilla films have a special place.
First ever 'Godzilla' movie made in 1954 in the Japanese language. It has created a big sensation at the time of release. Director Ishiro Honda has done magic with the camera when there were no visual effects were available at that time. A monster suit weighing 100 kilos has been prepared and Haruo Nakajima wore the suit to play Godzilla role. He worked very hard to play that role. Similarly, he received wonderful appreciation.
Haruo Nakajima breathed his last recently at the age of 88. Haruo has appeared in 12 Godzilla movies till 1972. While he was playing Godzilla character he couldn't breathe properly because of the heavy suit. So, the unit members have arranged an Oxygen tube and made him act. The original Godzilla movie was made with 1.75 lakh dollars.. and it went on to collect 22 lakh dollars.
