We are aware of the complaint filed by Producer-turned-Hero Udhayanidhi Stalin against Kajal Agarwal regarding the Rs 40 lakhs advance she was paid for the movie 'Nanbaenda'.
Udhayanidhi Stalin's version: Kajal was replaced by Nayantara in 'Nanbaenda' even before the shooting began. As per Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) rules, Actors have to pay back the advance amount to producers had if they didn't shoot for the movie even for a single day.
However, Kajal is reluctant to return the advance and planning to take up the issue to the Nadigar Sangam. She feels the 40 days she has blocked for 'Nanbaenda' got wasted just because of last minute replacement and the producer was even informed that advance isn't refundable at the time she signed the movie.
With neither of these actors ready to sacrifice Rs 40 lakhs, the controversy is only going to get bigger in the coming days. Let's see where it will end!
