Allagadda MLA and YSR Congress leader Shobha Nagireddy on Thursday breathed her last at 11.05 am while undergoing treatment at Care Hospital in Hyderabad.
Shobha Nagireddy's car met with an accident on her return to Allagadda after attending YS Sharmila's YSR Jana Bheri in Kurnool. Upon taking the advice of Doctors, She was shifted to Care Hospital in Hyderabad and kept on ventilator due to breathing difficulty. 3 Teams of Doctors have tried everything they can to save her but she has succumbed to the severe injuries.
Shobha Nagireddy was born on November 16th, 1968. She is daughter of former minister SV Subbareddy. Her marriage with Bhuma Nagireddy happened in the year 1986. She made her political entry in 1996 and got elected as an MLA on TDP ticket in Allagadda by-poll (1997). She retained her seat in 2009 General Elections by contesting on behalf of TDP. After the launch of Praja Rajyam Party, She quit TDP and shifted her loyalties to Chiru. She is also the only PRP MLA in entire Rayalseema region. In 2004 Polls, She filed her nomination as YSRC Allagadda assembly candidate.
