Flop Director Goes For His Lucky Hero

Director Gopichand Malinenni gave a grand entry into the film industry by scoring a super hit with his maiden flick, Don Seenu. After that, he couldn't just main the success momentum with his other films. Barring Balupu, none of his other films has worked well at the box office.
His last film was Winner, which was also a flop. Now, the director is planning to make a striking comeback but isn't able to find the actors for his movie. Apparently, he approached Sai Dharam Tej but failed in the attempt as Tej didn't want to take any risk as he was in stuck in a string of flops until Chitralhari.
Then, Gopi tried to test his luck with his lucky hero Ravi Teja, and the actor was highly impressed with his script. It seems that Gopichand wrote a script based on true incidents this time, rather than going for a regular masala film. The shoot of this film will go on floors after Ravi Teja wraps up his current project, Disco Raja.
