Four Queens For The Same Story

Bollywood makers are focusing more on South films these days. Whenever there is a hit film in South, it is remade into Hindi. On the contrary, South filmmakers are not showing much interest in remaking the Hindi films into the regional languages except one of two films. One such film is Kangana starrer 'Queen'.
Vikas Bahl directed 'Queen' and it was released in 2014. Hero Prashanth's father Thyagarajan acquired the remake rights of 'Queen'. The remake didn't go to the sets as there was no clarity on choosing the leading lady. Finally, they have chosen Kajal Aggarwal for Tamil remake. Milky Beauty Tamannah is acting in the Telugu remake. Award winning director Neelakanta is directing the Telugu version. He is presently busy with the script work. As soon as he completes the script work Telugu version will hit the sets.
'Queen' is remade in Kannada as well. Kannada top heroine Parul Yadav is playing the lead role in Kannada version. Senior actor Ramesh Aravind will direct the film. When it comes to Malayalam version, Amala Paul name was heard initially but the latest buzz suggests that Manjima Mohan name is going to play the lead role. So, four queens are getting ready to entertain the audience in four South Indian languages.
