Fraudsters dupe director for Rs 50,000 posing themselves as Wakf Board Representatives!

A group of fraudsters who posed themselves as representatives of the Wakf board tricked a director to pay them 50,000 and fled with the money. The incident took place in Hyderabad.
Going into details, a director is shooting for his film in Lanco Hills in Hyderabad's Manikonda area. When the shooting is going on a group of men reached the spot and told them that they are not supposed to shoot here
When the producer said, they have the shooting permission, the fraudsters said the permission from the land owners is required and posed themselves as the representatives of the Wakf board.
They made the director speak to a person who introduced himself as Wakf Board Chairman Saleem who demanded Rs 50,000 to shoot at the location.
The issue came to limelight when the director moved the Narsingi Police Station. The cops registered a complaint and are looking for the fraudsters.
