Tamil Bigg Boss is embroiled in a controversy. Pro-Hindu Group named as Hindu Makkal Katchi lodged a complaint with Police Commissioner alleging that the reality show is against Tamil Culture. Demand for the arrest of the 'Viswaroopam' Star & Show Participants including Namitha, Oviya & others has been placed.
Chakrapani Maharaj representing Hindu Mahasabha opined anyone who respects Indian Culture willn't support shows like Bigg Boss. Recalling how Kamal Haasan made controversial comments on Mahabharat in the past, He says chances of the Actor hurting the sentiments of Hindus with Bigg Boss can't be ruled out.
Kamal Haasan made it clear he doesn't mind being arrested and termed the accusations are silly. He questioned, 'Why didn't these fringe groups didn't seek ban on cheerleaders dancing in the cricket stadium? I am a rationalist but the Hindutva Groups assume I am a communist'.
