Gannavaram Airport to not see SpiceJet flights for two months

In a shocking turn of events, SpiceJet announces suspension of its through and fro services at the Vijayawada AirPort. The airlines had issued an official note confirming the suspension of the services. Low footfall in bookings is the reason behind the suspension.
In the release, SpiceJet airlines said that it had to take the decision as it has been going through losses due to the losses it has been facing due to the low bookings in the recent times.
The airlines said seeing less than 30 percent of bookings, it had taken the decision to suspend the services in Vijayawada Airport.
According to the Airlines, the suspension of the flight services is temporary and the suspension will be applicable for the coming two months. It will take a call on whether or not to revoke the suspension in November and it's decision regarding the same would be announced.
However, looking at the situation, the chances of revocation of suspension of flights are very low as given the pandemic scare, people are not preferring going to other places and travelling in flights is a costly affair.
