Reports are abuzz that 90s romantic hero Karthik has been suffering from a serious heart ailment and he was admitted in a private hospital recently for the treatment. As the rumours spread like wildfire within few hours, Family Members of the actor were forced to issue a clarification.
Responding on the rumours, Karthik's son & actor Gautham Karthik said: "Thank you all for your concern about dad. He has gone for a routine checkup not a heart problem. Please stop spreading rumors. He's fine".
While Karthik made his comeback with 'Raavan', Gautham was launched as hero by Mani Ratnam in 'Kadali'. Karthik has been busy doing character roles off late and he was particularly impressive in 'Anekudu'. The Youngster is yet to score his first commercial success but able to grab some promising offers right from the beginning.
